ServLine Protects Homeowners from Damages
September 04, 2018
Many Entranosa members still aren’t familiar with ServLine, a program that has been offered to rural water associations for a little more than two years through the National Rural Water Association. In short, ServLine is an extra level of protection for homeowners against the possibility of water line damage and excessive water bills due to undetected leaks. Dawn Myers, director of the Affinity Partner Program of the NRWA, said the ServLine is different from other programs, which are basically waterline warranties. For an optional $1.65 a month, this program will pay excess water charges resulting from eligible plumbing leaks up to $1,000 with no deductible. For an optional $4 a month, homeowners can sign up for replacement of damaged or ruptured water lines costing up to $10,000. It also includes $500 for repair of public paved surfaces and $500 for private paved surfaces, such as sidewalks and driveways. It insures your water line from the meter to the foundation of your home. Call (505) 407-8081 to sign up or ask questions of a ServLine representative.
